LPE growth of the PZNT91/9 film on the (001) SrTiO3 substrate
In this letter, we report for the first time the study of 0.91Pb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O-3-0.09PbTiO(3) (PZNT91/9) relaxor ferroelectric films, which were grown by the liquid phase epitaxy (LPE) method on (0 0 1) SrTiO3 (STO) substrates. The morphologies on the surface were observed by optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. The composition of as-grown films was determined by EDS. In order to study the epitaxial relationship between the LPE films and the substrates, XRD analysis was undertaken, which shows the good alignment of the PZNT grains on the STO substrate. The epitaxial orientation relationship is [1 0 0] (0 0 1) (PZNT)//[1 0 0] (0 0 1) (STO). (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
