Growth and characterization of superconducting (GdCe)(2)NbSr2Cu2O10-delta Single crystals
Superconducting (GdCe)(2)NbSr2CU2O10-delta (Gd-2122) single crystals were grown by slow cooling technique using excess CuO and SrCO3-CuO fluxes. The crystallization temperatures of Gd-2122 with different fluxes have been determined from differential thermal analysis. X-ray powder diffraction studies confirmed the structure of the grown crystals to be tetragonal. The changes in morphology and superconducting property have been studied for the crystals grown from excess CuO and SrCO3-CuO fluxes.
