Electron-phonon coupling of deep emission in ZnSeTe alloy
The origin of a deep emission band (2.25eV) with a quite strong electron-phonon interaction in MBE grown ZnSe1-xTex alloys has been investigated and discussed. The emission band can be observed at the Te content x of about 0.03. The zero phonon energy of the emission band coincides with the ZnSe-like exciton (2.79 eV) at low temperature. The Huang Rhys parameter S and the phonon energy at the excited state are estimated as 23 and 24 meV, respectively, indicating strong electron-phonon coupling with the Frank Condon shift of 550 meV.
