In this paper, we investigate formal asymptotic limits for a thermodynamically consistent solutal phase-field model based on Warren and Boettinger's model. Four different sharp-interface limits are obtained, two of which remain valid when some of the constraints for thermodynamic consistency are removed from the original model.
