A complete equation of state, based on a reference isentrope derived using the Walsh mirror image approximation, is discussed and calibrated for unreacted PBX9501. There are very few relevant data for the calibration, and the emphasis is on how calibration may be done rather than on presenting a final perfect equation of state.
