CHARACTERIZATION OF AQUEOUS MIXTURES OF N-PROPANOL BY INTERFACE BEHAVIOR ONTO AIR, GLASS AND TEFLON
Surface tensions and contact angles onto glass and teflon were determined using a K12 processor tensiometer about the whole concentration range at 20, 25, 30 and 35-degrees-C. By means of the Gibbs adsorption isotherm equation the surface excess values were calculated and compared between surface phase liquid/gaseous and interface solid/liquid. Above it, the free standard wetting enthalpies were discussed.
