Polysilsesquioxane (CH3SiO1.5)(8) crystals were prepared from CH3Si(OCH2CH3)(3)-trapped poly(2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate) (PHEMA) swollen in methanol in 23% yield under certain acidic or alkaline condition.
