A simple method for covalent immobilization of proteins on porous silicon surfaces
Biomolecules can be covalently grafted onto the hydrideterminated porous silicon surface through a simple three-step method: amino-silanization. attachment of succinimidyl ester, and finally immobilization of a fluoresein-labeled IgG. And each surface is characterized with transmission infrared Fourier-transform and photoluminescence spectroscopy.
