ZnS nanofibers with lamellar mesostructures were synthesized by hydrothermal reaction of Zn(Ac)(2) and Na2S using neutral n-alkylamines (alkyl = C-8-C-16) as structure-directing template and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid as stabilizer.
