Successive treatment of PhSiH3 with 1,4- or 1,3-diethynyl-benzene (1 equiv.) and functional alkynes (1.05 equiv.) in the presence of Pd-2(dba)(3)-PCy3 (dba = dibenzylideneacetone, Cy = cyclohexyl) catalyst gave new functional alkenyl pendant-containing silylene-divinylene polymers.
