Thermoresponsive hydrogels based on biodegradable poly(amino acid)s have been developed by crosslinking of poly(N-(omega-hydroxyalkyl) alpha/beta-asparagine)s with diisocyanate. The poly(amino acid) hydrogels showed a thermoresponsive release of a model drug.
