Catalytic behavior of a bis(phenoxy-imine)Ti complex/i-Bu3Al/Ph3CB(C6F5)4 catalyst system for higher alpha-olefin polymerization was investigated. The catalyst system exhibited higher activities towards alpha-olefins having larger molecular sizes and formed ultra-high molecular weight poly(higher alpha-olefin)s.
