A novel one-dimensional zirconium phosphate inorganic polymer, [NH4](3)[Zr(OH)(2)(PO4)(HPO4)] has been synthesized in (HOCH2CH2)(2)O medium with F- ions in presence, and structurally characterized. The compound consists of macroanionic chains of [ZrP2O10H3](3-) separated by NH4+ cations.
