Hydrothermal synthesis and characterization of SnS2 nanocrystals
Nanocrystalline SnS2 was synthesized by a hydrothermal reaction between SnCl(4)(.)5H(2)O and thiourea (NH2CSNH2) at 140-200 degreesC. XRD pattern indicated that the as-prepared sample was beta -phase SnS2. The as-prepared SnS2 mainly consisted of hexagon slices with average diameter of 30-200 mn. A Raman spectrum of the as-synthesized beta -SnS2 was presented.
