Flux growth of single crystals of BaBPO5

The powder barium borophosphate BaBPO5 was synthesized by solid-state reaction techniques. Single crystals BaBPO5 with sizes up to 20 mm x 15 mm x 10 mm were grown by top-seeded solution growth method using H3BO3-NH4H2PO4 as fluxes. The crystals and the components volatilized were characterized by the method of X-ray powder diffraction.
