Optically purr selenoxides, stabilized by intramolecular coordination of amino group of 8-(dimethylamino)-1 -naphthyl substituent to the selenium atom, were isolated by chromatographic resolution using an optically active column. Stereochemistry of the optically active selenoxides was also examined.
