B-2 Sigma(+)-X-2 Sigma(+) and (CII)-I-2-X-2 Sigma(+) transitions in InF+: A configuration interaction study
Relativistic configuration interaction calculations have been carried out to investigate the electronic structure and spectroscopy of InF+. Potential energy curves of 22 low-lying doublet and quartet states of the ion are constructed. Three doublets, X-2 Sigma(+), B-2 Sigma(+), and C-2 Pi are spectroscopically significant. The radiative lifetimes for B-2 Sigma(+)-X-2 Sigma(+) and C-2 Pi X-2 Sigma(+) transitions are estimated. Transition probabilities of the parallel and perpendicular transitions of B-2 Sigma(+)(1/2)-x(2)Sigma(+)(1/2) and C-1(2)Pi(1/2)-X-2 Sigma(+)(1/2) have been compared. The radiative lifetime for the (C-2(2)Pi(3/2)-X-2 Sigma(+)(1/2))(perpendicular to) transition has been calculated. Dipole moments X-2 Sigma(+), B-2 Sigma(+), and C-2 Pi are computed by keeping the origin at the center of mass. The computed vertical ionization energies of InF are also reported.
