Laser burning of a gap in the spectrum of plasmon resonance of gold nanoparticles
The effect of selective burning of a stationary gap in the spectrum of plasmon resonance of gold nanorods in the vicinity of laser wavelength is experimentally found. Formation of the gap is ascribed to the decrease of concentration of nanorods with certain aspect ratios that are in resonance with laser radiation. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
