Preparation and Characterization of Electrospun Mesoporous Silica Nanofibers
Mesoporous SBA-15 samples were fabricated by sol-gel and electrospinning method. A triblock copolymer (Pluronic, P123) was sued as the structure-directing agent and polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) was empolyed to prepare refining nanofibers. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), nitrogen adsorption and desorption analyses, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and Fourier Transfrom Infrared (FT-IR). It was found that the silica nanofibers had narrow mesopore size distribution and an average fiber diameter was 200-300nm with higher surface area.
