2-Hydroxyethyl methacrylate copolymers with styrene and series of the cross-linkers (divinylbenzene and mono-, di- and triethylene glycol dimethacrylates) with low cross-linking degree (2-5 mol %) were obtained by suspension polymerization. Loading capacity of the resins, their glass transition temperature, and swelling characteristics in 20 solvents were analyzed depending on monomers composition. (c) 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
