Development of high efficient electrode for direct Formic Acid Fuel Cells
Small fuel cells are considered as replacements for batteries in portable power applications. In direct liquid fuel cell systems. Pt/Ru and Pt catalysts are used for anode and cathod, respectively, and they are conventionally dispersed on the electrodes by air-spray. Since the catalysts are noble metals. it is important to reduce catalyst loadings by effective dispersion before commercialization. In this study, electrospray was tried tor effective dispersion of catalysts ink on electrodes. The prepared electrodes were estimated by single cell test at different formic acid concentrations
