Laminar-Flow of Non-Newtonian Fluids in Annuli
Laminar flow of non-Newtonian fluids in annuli has been investigated experimentally. A simple theoretical derivation is made by matching the generalised Mooney-Rabinowitsch equation with the limiting cases of flow in cylindrical pipes and between parallel plates. The resulting correlation represents adequately both the present and previous literature data.
