Scanning electrochemical microscope characterization of thin film Pt-Ru alloys for fuel cell applications
Thin film combinatorial libraries of potential fuel cell anode catalysts are formed by sputtering depositing through masks onto Si wafers. Libraries are examined for electrochemical activity with a scanning electrochemical microscope. Limitations in using scanning electrochemical microscopy for characterization of an array of fuel cell electrode materials are discussed. (C) 2004 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
