Purification of Waste-Water in the Chemical-Industry
Waste water can be polluted by solid matter, droplets of organic materials, and dissolved organic and inorganic components. In this paper, the mechanical, thermal, biological and chemical processes suitable for water cleansing are presented. It is shown that sometimes a combination of various processes leads to the minimum cost [DM(m(3) water)(-1)] for purification according to the regulations.
