A model for the influence of boundary layers on the rheology of agglomerating suspensions
A simple general model for the interaction of hydrodynamic diffusion and the formation or destruction of agglomerates in a suspension is developed. The intention is to show some possible effects of a combination of agglomeration and hydrodynamic diffusion which may lead to interesting consequences for the rheological behavior of suspensions. Some examples are presented in this paper.
