A deliverability model was developed to predict the performance of multilateral wells. A new model was developed for reservoir inflow that calculates a single-phase inflow performance relationship for a segmented horizontal lateral. Single-phase and two-phase wellbore flow models are used for flow in the laterals. Pressure drop in the tubing from the uppermost lateral to the surface was calculated by use of a two-phase now correlation.
