Solubility of propylene in aqueous alkanolamine solutions
Measurements of the solubility of propylene in aqueous alkanolamine solutions have been made over a range of temperatures from 8 to 100degreesC. Concentration of the amines ranged from 0.7 to 16.5 mol/l. In all cases, the pressure was high enough to ensure that two phases were present. The amine solutions included monoethanolamine (MEA), diethanolamine (DEA), di-isopropanolamine (DIPA), methyldiethanolamine (MDEA), and Diglycolamine((R)) (DGA((R))). The data have been con-elated by a modified Setchenow equation. (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
