Excess functions of binary liquid mixtures at varying pressures
The present investigation comprises of theoretical evaluation of the thermodynamic excess functions, viz. excess energy and excess entropy for five binary liquid mixtures at varying pressures. A statistical mechanical theory, along with the Schaaff's equation for sound velocity was used in order to calculate the above-mentioned excess properties directly through the use of the experimental data of ultrasonic velocity and density only.
