The synthesis and hydrogenation of two fluorinated polymers is described. The products were characterised through a detailed study of their H-1-, C-13- and F-19-NMR spectra, together with thermal and GPC analysis. Hydrogenation resulted in a significant lowering of the glass transition temperatures of the polymers. (C) 2003 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
