Interfacing fracturing and sand-control strategies into multilateral technology
Multilateral capabilities can provide cost-effective well construction because reservoir exposure through the main wellbore is increased. This paper focuses on considerations, applications, and benefits of tool configurations developed for interfacing sand control and fracture stimulation with multilateral technology. The techniques include existing, modified, and conceptual completion methods that can be deployed in multilateral field-development strategies.
