H2S의 선택적 산화반응에 미치는 변형된 zeolite X 촉매의 영향

양이온 교환법으로 제조된 zeolite HX, LiX, NaX, KX를 촉매로 이용하여 산도에 따른 H2S의 선택적 산화 반응 특성을 연구하였다. zeolite X 촉매들에 대한 산도는 zeolite HX > zeolite LiX > zeolite NaX > zeolite KX 촉매 순이며 염기도는 산도의 역순으로 알려져 있다. 반응온도 225 ℃ 공간속도(GHSV) 20000 h-1에서 각각의 촉매에 대한 반응특성 실험을 수행한 결과 H2S 전환율이 zeolite KX ≥ zeolite NaX > zeolite LiX > zeolite HX 촉매 순으로 나타났다. 이는 염기도의 순서와 일치하는 것으로 염기성인 zeolite NaX와 zeolite KX 촉매가 H2S의 선택적 산화반응에 효과적인 촉매임을 확인하였다. 특히 zeolite NaX와 zeolite KX 촉매 상에서 반응온도 200 ℃, 몰비(O2/H2S) 0.5에서 90% 이상의 우수한 원소 황 수율을 얻었다.
The selective oxidation of hydrogen sulfide was studied over the various zeolite X catalysts (zeolite HX, LiX, NaX, KX) that were prepared by ion exchange method. The acidity of various zeolite X catalysts decreased in the following order: zeolite HX > zeolite LiX > zeolite NaX > zeolite KX. The basicity of the catalysts was the reverse sequence of the acidity. For the same condition (reaction temperature: 225 ℃, space velocity: 20000 h-1), the conversion of hydrogen sulfide decreased in the following order: zeolite KX ≥ zeolite NaX > zeolite LiX > zeolite HX. It was concluded that the reactivity of zeolite NaX and zeolite KX, base catalysts, was superior than that of zeolite LiX and zeolite HX, which were acid catalysts. Particularly, the yield of sulfur element using zeolite NaX and zeolite KX at the reaction condition (temperature = 200 ℃, O2/H2S mole ratio = 0.5) was over 90%.
