Synthesis, properties, and reaction of polysulfilimine
The well-characterized main-chain polymer poly(N-tosylsulfilimine) was first prepared by the reaction of aromatic polysulfide and chloramine-T. The polar and bulky N-tosylsulfilimine group increased the solubility in polar solvents and the glass-transition temperature of the polymer. The detosylation of poly(N-tosylsulfilimine) was also performed and yielded N-unsubstituted polysulfilimine.
