SO2 제거반응에서 Ce1-xZrxO2 촉매의 Ce/Zr 몰비에 따른 반응성 연구
A Study of Reactivity to Recover SO2 Over Ce1-xZrxO2 caused by Ce/Zr Mole Ratio
The catalytic reduction of SO2 to elemental sulfur by CO over CeZrO2 was studied in this work. The CeZrO2 catalysts were prepared with a change in Ce/Zr mole ratio (Ce1-xZrxO2, x=1, 0.8, 0.5, 0.2, 0). We investigated reactivity of Ce1-xZrxO2 in accordance with experimental conditions, such as reaction temperature, space velocity (GHSV). The Ce0.8Zr0.2O2 and Ce0.5Zr0.5O2 catalysts showed the SO2 conversion of 93% and elemental sulfur selectivity of 98% at temperature above 425 ℃, superior reactivity than other catalysts. The cerium based catalysts with zirconium were improved oxygen mobility and degree of reduction Ce4+. It is important to control mole ratio between Ce and Zr because of the surpassing oxygen mobility and degree of reduction Ce4+.
