Effect of Phosphorous Promoter on Catalytic Performance for Oligomerization of Butene Over Ni-based Catalysts
Oligomerization of butenee was carried out in fixed bed reactor using Ni/Al2O3. catalysts. The effects of phosphorous on C8 yield and selectivity in dimerization reaction over Ni/Al2O3 catalyst were investigated. P and/or TPPO(Triphenyl phosphine oxide) is used as phosphorous source. It was found that the phosphorous promoter can increase octene selectivity in dimerization of n-butenes.
