Thermochemical determination of the enthalpies of combustion and formation of fullerene C-70
The standard molar energy of combustion of fullerene C-70 was measured at T = 298.15 K by means of a static bomb isoperibolic macrocalorimeter, Delta(c)U(m)(0)(cr) = -(29998 32) U (.) mol(-1). The standard molar enthalpies of formation of fullerene C70 in the crystalline and gaseous states were calculated from the experimental data, Delta(f)H(m)(0) (cr) = (2452 33) U (.) mol(-1) and Delta(f)H(m)(0) (g) = (2652 34) kJ (.) mol(-1). The average CO? fraction in the combustion products was equal to (0.9995 0.04) of theoretical.
