Partial molar volumes of glycine, L-alanine, and L-serine in aqueous glucose solutions at T=298.15 K
Densities of glycine, L-alanine, and L-serine in aqueous glucose solutions have been measured at T = 298.15 K by an oscillating-tube densimeter Apparent molar volumes and limiting partial molar volumes of each amino acid have been calculated. The trends of transfer volumes have been interpreted by the cosphere overlap model.
