The causes of structural aging of asphalt
The structure of asphalt, whose colloidal structure is determined by the spin dipole properties of the compounds it contains, is examined. The possibility of constructing models of associates of petroleum systems is evaluated. It is shown that associative combinations of asphalts have a central-spherical structure with two characteristic kinds of nuclei. The possible appearance of a graphite-like stuck structure in asphalt with an amorphous paramagnetic nucleus, detected by not only x-ray structural analysis but also by electron paramagnetic resonance, is substantiated.
