순수한 제올라이트 Rho의 합성과 합성조건 연구
A Study on the Synthesis of Pure Zeolite Rho

겔 조성과 합성조건의 조정으로 순수한 제올라이트 Rho 결정들이 (gel 조성, 3.11Na : 0.31Cs : 1.0Al : 5.69Si : 55.5H2O) 유기성 구조유도체 없이 실온에서 5일 동안의 숙성에 의해서 합성되어졌다. 합성된 제올라이트 Rho 결정들의 평균 크기는 약 2 μm로 추정되어졌으며 Si/Al 비는 3.54이었고 물함량은 15.9 %이었다(Na4.96Cs5.60Si37.44Al10.56O96·39H2O). 제올라이트 Rho의 골격은 Si(0Al), Si(1Al) 및 Si(2Al)로 구성되어져 있는 것으로 나타났으며 약 1000 ℃까지 안정하였다.
With the aging time of 5 days at room temperature, in the absence of organic structure-diracting agents, nearly pure Rho zeolite was synthesized from a gel composition of 3.11Na : 0.31Cs : 1.0Al : 5.69Si : 55.5H2O. This study was conducted to improve the purity of Rho crystals through modification of the gel composition and the process condition. The average size of synthesized Rho crystals was estimated to be ca. 2 μm. The formula of zeolite Rho unit cell was found to be Na4.96Cs5.60Si37.44Al10.56O96·39H2O with Si/Al ratio = 3.54 and 15.9 % of water content. The framework of Rho zeolite was composed of Si(0Al), Si(1Al) and Si(2Al), and it was thermally stable up to about 1000 ℃.
