SOME COMMENTS ON THE SURFACE-TENSION DRIVEN BREAK-UP (OR THE LACK OF IT) OF VISCOELASTIC JETS

The surface-tension driven deformation of a fluid jet is studied under various simplifying assumptions. The results shed some light on the observed resistance of viscoelastic jets to break-up.
