In this paper, we reply to the above-mentioned paper(1) which makes several remarks on the global optimization algorithms for H-infinity control with constant diagonal scaling proposed in our papers [2]-[5]. We first note that [5] is a journal paper version of [2] and is independent of [3] and [4]. Therefore, we will reply to the remarks only regarding [2] and [5]. In Section I, we address what appears to be general comments, while in Section II we reply to more specific comments 1-5 in the paper.
