Isobutane alkylation - Recent developments, and future perspectives
In the isobutane alkylation, alkylated gasoline is obtained which is a valuable blending component for the gasoline pool. Thereby the C-3-C-4 cut from the FCC units can be extensively used. Established technologies and recent developments will be reviewed and future perspectives will be given.
