Enthalpic interactions of glycine in aqueous sodium halide solutions
Dilution enthalpies of glycine in aqueous NaF and NaI solutions of various modalities at 298.15 K have been determined, respectively, by mixing flow microcalorimetry. The results have been analyzed according to the modified McMillan-Mayer model to obtain homogeneous enthalpic interaction coefficients. The effect of the anions on enthalpic pair-wise interaction coefficients has been discussed from the point of view of electrostatic interaction and structural interaction.
