Heat capacities of calcium chromate and calcium chromite
Heat capacities of calcium chromate (CaCrO4) and calcium chromite (beta -CaCr2O4) were measured at elevated temperatures using the differential scanning calorimetry. The measured heat capacities of CaCrO4 and beta -CaCr2O4 as a function of temperature (measured in J mol(-1) K-1) are expressed as C-p (CaCrO4) 127.92 + 35.73 x 10(-3)T - 2.257 x 10(6)/T-2 (298-1123 K) C-p(beta -CaCr2O4) = 166.69 + 18.33 x 10(-3)T - 2.92 x 10(6)/T-2 (298-1203 K)
