DSA 전극의 산성용액에서의 양극산소발생
The Anodic Evolution of Oxygen on DSA Electrodes in Acid Solutions
초록
산소 과전압을 줄이기 위하여 RuO2, IrO2, MnO2 를 다공성 티타늄판에 형성시킨 DSA(Dimensionally Stable Anode)를 제조하여 산화물 특성, 양극 분극특성, 전극경시 변화, 아연전착 양상 등을 조사하였다. RuO2, IrO2, MnO2의 결정형태, 표면조성 및 특성을 XRD, ESCA, DTA로 조사하였다. 안정제로 IrO2를 혼합한 RuO2-IrO2/Ti 전극이 전해특성 및 안정성이 우수하게 나타났으며 납전극에 비하여 약 450mV의 소극성 효과를 기할 수 있었다.
DSA(Dimensionally Stable Anode)electrodes for reducing oxygen overvoltage were prepared by form-ing RuO2, lrO2 and MnO2 on perforated titanium plate and their anodic polarization characteristics, life time of elec-trodes and surface morphology of zinc electrodeposits were investigated in acid solutions, The crystal structure, surface composition and thermal property of oxides were investigated by XRD, ESCA and DTA. The RuO2-IrO2/Ti electrode formed by mixing IrO2 as stabilizer showed good in electrolysis property and stability and the depolarization effect of this electrode was about 450mV compared with lead electrode.
