회분식 및 연속식 결정화기에서의 결정입도분포 계산
Calculation of Crystal Size Distribution for Batch and Continuous MSMPR Crystallizer
초록
연속식 및 회분식 결정화기에서 제 3의 물질을 가하여 과포화도를 유발시키는 경우에 대해 혼합과정의 부피변화를 고려할 수 있는 Population 수지식의 해법을 제시하였다. 과포화도가 작은 경우에 혼합과정의 부피변화를 고려하지 않으면 계산의 진행이 어렵거나 큰 오차가 발생한다. 또한 용매석계에 대해 연속식과 회분식에 같이 적용될 수 있는 결정화속도를 구하는 방법을 제시하고 소금물-에탄올 염석계의 입도분포 계산에 적용하여 좋은 결과를 얻었다.
A unified solution method of pouplation balance equation for a batch and continuous MSMPR crystal-lizer was presented and a method for taking the volume change of mixing into consideration was developed when the supersaturation is induced by adding a third component. The volume effect can be very important when the super-saturation becomes very small. Also, crystallization rate equations were developed which are applicable to both batch and continuous operations. Comparison of calculated crystal size distributions with experimental ones for NaCl-water-ethanol systems showed good agreement.
