Dimethyl titanium dichloride: A high active catalyst for the ring opening metathesis polymerization
Methyl titanium chlorides (MenTiCl4-n, = 1- 4) are found for the first time to be high active catalysts for the ring opening metathesis polymerization of dicyclopentadiene. Among them, dimethyltitanium dicloride is the most active, far more active than dimethyl titanocene.
