Membrane Bioreactor (MBR)를 이용한 오·폐수 처리
Wastewater Treatment Using Menbrane Bioreactors (MBR)

초록
날로 수질 보전의 중요성이 커지는 오늘날, MBR 공정은 기존 생물학적 오·폐수 처리 공정을 대체할 유망한 공정으로 자리잡고 있다. 특히 분리막오염을 크게 감소시키고 경제성을 향상시킨 침지형 분리막의 등장과 함께 MBR은 적용의 범위가 급격히 넓어지고 있다. 여기에서는 MBR의 일반적인 특성 및 적용 사례에 대해 알아보고 현재 시판되는 침지형 모듈 및 공정의 설계 인자에 대해 고찰해 보았다. 또 각각의 침지형 분리막의 장단점에 대해 알아보았다.
As the importance of clean water preservation has become one of most pressing issue in recent, the membrane bioreactor (MBR) process has been proved to be a promising technology to replace existing biological waste treatment processes. Particularly, with the recent development of fouling resistant economic submerged membranes, the MBR process has become more popular in a wide variety of wastewater treatment applications. In this study, the general characteristics and commercial MBR plants are reviewed. In addition, the design factors of commercial submerged systems and their merits/demerits are examined.
