Simultaneous catalytic reduction of sulfur dioxide and nitric oxide
The present work reports a catalytic system for the simultaneous reduction of SO2 and NO using CO as a reducing agent. The catalyst contains lanthanum oxysulfide and cobalt sulfides. Experimental results showed that at temperature above 450(degrees)C, SO2 and NO conversions are greater than 98 and 99%, respectively.
