Temperature Effect of Batch and Continuous Reactions in the Gas-Phase
The temperature effect on the performance of gas phase bioreactions (batch and continuous) was investigated using immobilized alcohol oxidase on Amberlite IRA-400. Reaction rates and product (acetaldehyde) compositions were compared as functions of temperature; there is a reaction temperature corresponding to a trade-off point between reaction rate and reaction extent.
