Electronic properties of thin cuprous oxide sheet prepared by infrared light irradiation
Self-supporting sheets of cuprous oxide were fabricated by thermally oxidizing (Cu --> CuO) copper foils and deoxidizing (CuO --> Cu2O) in a chamber filled with O-2 gas with focused infrared light irradiation. This method proved to be good for preparing cuprous oxide sheets with high purity and low resistivity.
